OBEDIENCE BRINGS A BLESSING
1. Sometimes it seems so very hard to
do what God is asking,
It cuts across the grain of selfish
pride;
But when we give our all to Him
without a reservation,
It brings such peace and joy down
deep inside.

2. Then Jonah heard the voice of God
say, ABe My missionary,
He tho’t there was no way he could
obey;
But when his disobedience caused
him lots of pain and trouble,
He found it was not hard to go
God’s way.
3. Don’t let your life become so
crowded with the task of living,
That you have no time left to seek
the Lord;
Don’t let Him have to slow you
down to get His message to you,
Obedience always brings its own
reward.
